Gratitude is Power

Theres this roundabout that I have to cross everytime I go to drop my teen at his part time job.

For the past week I have been thinking that one day someone will cross lanes and cut into my path at that particular roundabout,even though I know that the other lane can only turn right.

That is exactly what I attracted today.I could have sworn at the driver,made obscene gestures,honked or tailgated.

But I didnt(well,because I had a teen and underage kids in the car)because I did not want to give that driver the power to spoil my day.

I took the opportunity to be grateful that my almost new car is fitted with enough airbags to rate it one of the safest cars in the world.

That is Power.Gratitude gives me the power to control any negativity that comes my way.

That is the power of the mind.Be careful what you think about.If you think negative thoughts all the time or often enough that is exactly what you will attract.

Try to see the good in all circumstances.Its not easy but its not impossible.
