51The meaning of life
I have seen birth and I have seen death.Up close.
As a medical doctor and as a human being I have had the pleasure and the honor of being present at many births and deaths.And in thier lives in between.
I believe that for me the meaning of life is being able to feel another persons pain and sharing sorrow with them.
It means feeling another persons pleasure and sharing thier joy with them.
A person can be sliced exactly into two pieces and thier parts examined for anything and everything.We can know everything about thier bodies and yet nothing about them.How did they live?Were they happy?Did they travel a lot?How did they feel when they first fell in love,when they had thier first child?
It is always my intention to go deep into the lives of the people whose lives touch mine,even if its by way of a smile or a handshake.
It makes my life that much more meaningful knowing that I made a difference.

Since everyone is entitled to thier own opinion,what I have written is entirely my own opinion and my own interpretation.

I think that you would not have SEEN YOUR birth and death.. that is where the meaning is!!!
